Just wondering if there are any Middle Eastern restaurants nearby.

I recently tried Harrar (Ethiopian restaurant) by way of recommendation from MOL and it was outrageously good!

This is one of our favorite cuisines! My husband, who has the most persnickety palate ever, and I like these places:

Greek Delights Park St Montclair - reasonably priced and delicious- the Greek Fries are a favorite

Lalezar (Turkish) Bloomfield Ave Montclair, just past the Museum - has an interesting selection of Turkish beverages and juices.

Mezze in Summit across from the train station (beware the belly dancer)mostly kebabs, but good mezze, and the stuffed apricots are delish.

Muse in Morristown - a little more expensive, but still reasonable, our favorite and a more varied menu

If you like Ethiopian, try Mesob, also in Montclair on Bloomfield. If you liked Harrar, you'll definitely like this place. Try their fresh roasted Ethiopian style coffee.

Enjoy!

Cafe Sultan in Upper Montclair is predominantly Lebanese...it's pretty good.

Although not nearby, Evelyn's in New Brunswick has good middle eastern food as well (mostly Lebanese).
