Greenwood Gardens in Old Short Hills Park (which was part of the original estate) is having an Open Days on Sunday 9/11. Usually you need to book a guided tour but this Sunday it is open to walkins for a self tour $5/person (children are probably free). Opens around noon -- I think, Its magical, in a "place time forgot" kind of way and great for kids. they have a website greenwoodgardens.org for details |
