We took out from Burnet BBQ on Springfield Ave last night and it was delicious! Our meal consisted of the BBQ Sausage Appetizer (HUGE sausage!), pork sandwich w/fries, and 1/2 BBQ Chicken with veggies and boiled potatoes. Everything was absolutely delicious, the portions were huge (left overs!) and the total was $20 and some change. The restaurant area was sadly completley empty, and honestly, although it looked like the atmosphere was very nice, I don't see myself going there to dine in. I think the menu is kind of small, but if they really got up and running and a good group of regulars they could probably expand it. If you looking for a pizza/chinese take out alternative, definitely take this place into consideration. |

Although I'm not a huge BBQ fan, my dad and brother LOVE the place and I have only heard good things. They used to take out from the one in Union and now frequent the one on Springfield Ave. because it's so close. It's too bad more people don't eat there, but hopefully they can support their business through mainly take-out orders. |

They have a larger menu for eat-in service, or at least they did when I ate there last, almost a year ago. I had a great chicken dish then, francese or picatta, and the next time we got takeout I tried to order it again and they told me it was for dine-in only. I thought that was odd, and too bad really -- we're mostly take-out people and I'd order from there a lot more often if the menu were a bit more varied. |
