Friday night at Cent’Anni was a wonderful evening filled with lots of friendly people, great food, and terrific entertainment by Joe Traina’s Jazz Quintet. As always, Chris was there to meet and greet, and his wait staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. I mention this because all too often we’ve seen posts in this section that will criticize some of our local establishments when they fall down on their service. Personally, I feel it’s always nice to give credit where credit is due. In this case, Libby and I drove home singing with a warm fussy feeling about the great time we had, and felt Cent’Anni was the primary reason for it! Thank you Chris for making that possible, we’ll be back...

Cent'Anni just opened in Royal Palm Beach. Could it be the same owner? |

Art, many thanks for the very kind comments, it is always good to see you and Libby, and Joe Traina did indeed rock the place. It's part of an ongoing initiative, much as you and Art are also committed, to provide more live music in Maplewood, so look for more great music at Cent'Anni, including Scott Buck on a Thursday night, and other local talent coming soon. As for royal Palm Beach, sounds like a fun location and I would be happy to go and check it out, but no, I do not own it, one restaurant is quite enough right now... |
