Just want to put in a plug for Ginger Taste in Millburn (where the IHOP was). Couldn't stand the bland food at Bill and Harry's so went searching for something tasty!! So happy with our meal last night- delicious dishes, great menu, super service and fine ambience. (Kid friendly too- took my toddler). I hope they can do well because the food was really super. AND THEY DELIVER TO MAPLEWOOD!!! enjoy! |

Yup, lots of write ups on MOL about Ginger Taste, but they are often still very empty. Excellent Asian fusion food. |

We had takeout last night. 2 meals were just good (somewhat bland Thai choices) and 1 was very good (ginger chicken). Everything was very fresh but they need to season some of the dishes better. |

You might need to be more specific in your requests, SOSully. We've always told them to make it spicy or medium. Vegetarian hot and sour soup, a treat for my husband who doesn't eat pork. Scallop Sambal is my favorite there. The green tea ice cream is great. |

Yep, we've loved this place ever since it was Sampan, and after it changed to Ginger Taste, I was glad to see that the quality of the food stayed very good. And I love the fact that they deliver! |

We had them deliver last night and everything was great! After the name change we had not ordered for fear of lesser quality food. I'm glad that nothing has changed. Very yummy and great lunch for the next day. |

Ginger Taste has become our preferred chinese/asian delivery of choice, although Hunan Spring in Springfield is still our favorite chinese restaurant nearby. We love the fact that they use yummy fresh veggies like zucchini, string beans, mushrooms - but has anyone else noticed that they put the same exact veggies in every dish? |

I'm starving -- is there anything on their menu which would please a 6 year old who loves sesame chicken? |

I don't have the menu in front of me. They may have sesame chicken, but a 6-year-old would probably like the honey chicken and shrimp with walnuts. You can order just the chicken if your child doesn't like shrimp. |

Had another fabulous dinner at Ginger Taste tonight. They have a salmon dish that is amazing. Cooked with sesame seeds and black beans. Great beef with thai basil and sambal scallops. Jasmine tea too. Try it soon!! |

Where is it? I don't recall an IHOP, so that didn't help me pinpoint the location. |
