Author Message   swimmer Citizen Username: Marna Post Number: 10 Registered: 6-2005 Posted on Monday, September 19, 2005 - 9:47 pm:        we have a wedding this weekend and wondered if anyone could reccomend a hotel/ b& b? it doesnt have to be in ocean city but not too far. we have called MANY places and they are all booked due to a bike rally. we have left it late so now will consider the other areas but would like to be near a beach - we have a 3yr old. many thanks!   cody Citizen Username: Cody Post Number: 810 Registered: 5-2001 Posted on Tuesday, September 20, 2005 - 6:41 pm:        Did you try the Golden Inn or Windrift Hotel (both are in Avalon) - they are about 20 minutes south of Ocean City and both are quite nice. Sea Isle City is on the island between Ocean City and Seven Mile Island (where Avalon and Stone Harbor are located). It has lots of motels and you might be able to find something there if you check it out on-line. I've never stayed in Sea Isle City, so I can't recommend a specific place. I have stayed at both the Golden Inn and the Windrift and both were nice.
