Monday is our annual Daddy-Daughter day for me and the squirt. This year, we'd like to go see some cool caves...any suggestions in NJ or PA?

Crystal cave in Pa, sort of upsatate somewhere. I'm sure it's east to find, there's also one in Hellertown, Pa too, which is pretty close. I've been to both and they're cool, stalagtites and stalagmites. Have fun.

We went to Lost River Caverns in Hellertown this summer and loved it. It's kind of a place that time forgot - the gift shop/museum are very interesting in that way. And the cave is - well, a cave, I guess. But my kids loved it and my 4 y.o. can't wait to go back. Btw, it's right off of rt 78, and they have a website.

Sweet!

Thanks for the information. I'd found LRC via Google, but its great to have a confirmation before we trek out there.

Hope you like it if you go. I really did love the gift shop/ museum - it is full of totally inexplicable stuff - as if they just put everything that they had laying around in it. Almost a perfect definition of "kitsch".
