Looking for a great family restaurant that would cater to adults and teenage kids. Kids would have games to play on site while adults can relax in a friendly low key atmosphere. Best would be BYOB to save on the expense. Bunny's has the right idea but since it's a bar getting a few drinks raises the cost, Resevoir is almost there on atmosphere and BYOB, but nothing to keep the kids busy. It's almost as though were looking for Chuckie Cheese's that's BYOB but for teenage children not 5 year olds.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Not sure how far you want to (or are willing to) travel, but would a Dave & Busters meet your needs?

There doesn't appear to be any NJ locations, so the closest is likely the one in Palisades Center Mall, West Nyack, NY

There's a Dave and Buster's in Philadelphia, on the waterfront...

Not really much that fits that bill 'round here (b/c of the games requirement); I would love just such a spot, and indeed that is the kind of place I used to go to as a kid w/ my folks.

Really, and sadly, the only place I can think of that is "family friendly" with games is Bennigans in Florham Park on Columbia Turnpike/South Orange Ave. (other than Bunny's, of course, which we love, and which we view as a bargain even with the drinks--then again, we always just get pizza and zuchinni sticks).

Kind of a dive but O'Rielly's has games and decent bar food.
