My kids are going to a Teen Kallah (a conference for reconstructionist Jewish teens) in Plantation, the Fort Lauderdale area. At the same time, my wife are attending a wedding on Key West. The kids fly down without us. Sunday, we will drive from Miami to Plantation to pick them up, and we'll fly back home from Miami.

We're going to Disney the week after. My wife is attending a conference at the Grand Floridian and we have left over park tickets from our trip this past January so we figured we'd join her after her conference. We had purchased 4 day park hopper passes in December of 2004, before they started imposing expiration dates, and only used them for two days. So we figured what the heck lets go again and use the other two days. Looking forward to it. Seems like lots of people I know are headed to Disney during the next couple of weeks.
As an aside anyone hear good/bad things about the Great Wolf indoor water parks? They just opened one in the poconos. I had a colleague who would trek, with his kids, to Ohio to visit every year and they loved it. Wondering how it will go her in the east. |
