The turkey wings, mac n cheese and collards and cabbage were awesome Saturday night - Jesse had a full evening and yet went out of his way to get us those turkey wings, which are the best I have ever tasted. We were also in cornbread heaven. What a talented chef.
Thanks Jesse and cheers!

I LOVE his food, I just wish he had a bit more business savvy. Twice I have driven over there on a weekend only to find a note on the door saying they were closed for one reason or another. Another time I called recently to order, they were out of most things. And why not post the menu (which changes daily) on the restaurant's Web site?

He's an incredibly good chef, no question about it. But there are plenty of people in town who have never even heard of the place. I think he needs to do a better job getting the word out, and trying to bring some stability to the place (set menu items, predictable hours, etc.)

His blackened mustard BBQ salmon is quite possibly the best salmon dish I have ever had.

Cmonty--right on regarding the salmon. Also LOVE his apricot sauce for barbecued ribs or chicken.
