Not a diner really (couldn't help myself about the little word play). We had dinner at the Brewery a few years back. That was okay. But would like to try something a little tastier. Not anything fancy. Just hoping to find some place open. |

We went to Charlie Brown's last night. They were open until about 9 PM. Usual menu. More crowded than I expected but no wait for a table at the time we arrived. |

Not sure if the Parkwood is open on Christmas. I doubt it. If it is, you'd be in luck next year, because the food there is good. Much better than a typical diner. The Maplewood Diner is open 365/24. It's more of a classic diner, to put it kindly. But seriously, the food there is perfectly fine.

Parkwood had a sign up earlier in the week saying they would be closed for Christmas. I don't know what time Peter closed on Christmas eve. |

He closed at 8. We had our Christmas Eve dinner there with our boys. It was delicious, as usual. After dinner, Peter brought to every table a plate that had about 5 slices of the various pies and cakes that they have, plus a few cannolis--as a way of saying happy holidays. Yum! It was a great place for Christmas Eve dinner.
