Baltimore has a fabulous aquarium. It's in the harbor and is a must see.

Beer in any joint in the Fells Point section.
Visit the USS Torsk, WWII submarine open for visits in the harbor.
Almost any restaurant in the Little Italy section of the city.
A walk along Harborfront, almost any time of the day or evening.

Are you going with kids or adults? Just up from the Inner Harbor is the Market...all redone and really a lot of fun. If you're going with children, the science center is fun, adn there's Disney and an urban museum (about the same as the one on the lower east side, but talks about Baltimore). There's also Ft McHenry -- where the Star Spangled Banner was written, I believe.

How long will you be there?

If you have only one day, then you should try and make it to the harbor. There is a lot to do and see there, and you can get some lunch while you look over the water.

If you have a night to spend there, you should go down to fells point. It is very lively there, with a lot of bars and restaurants. There are also a lot of little store there.

Do the water taxis run in the winter? You can get a daily pass and go to the visonary art museum, ft. mchenry, the aquarium and the science museum w/ IMAX all by boat.

also an espn zone right there.

Go up Charles street by Johns Hopkins and find the bronze statue. The statue is all green but the boobs are nice and shiny bronze. Rub them for good luck.

In Fells Point (which is a must-see generally): Bertha's Mussels is considered a staple (reasonable, too) and Birds of a Feather scotch bar is unbeatable.

We used to go down for the day and basically we'd do the inner harbor thing (walk around, shopping), the aquarium and then go over to Fells Point for Bertha's and then scotch. Admiral Fell in in FP is really cool, too, if you need a place to stay.
