cross-posted in Please Help[ section... looking for a local source of cream cheese packets or tubs -- you know, those little 1 oz portions, you often get at take out places or restaurants. I only need 40 or so, ( They may come 24 to a case) , so most wholesalers will not deal with me, nor can I order that few online and expect to receive them by mid-week (when I need them) . Any restaurant supply places in the area that are open to the public that might carry this product? Does anyone know if Costco sells cream cheese this way? thanks! |

Costco does, but I think it might be in a pack of 50. Not too many extra! |

As long as they keep, I could buy the 50/case. I guess I'll venture to Costco tomorrow. (maybe I'll call first, since I don't want to schlep all the way to East Hanover if I don't have to) . Thanks! |

Thanks -- went to Costco today... found a pack of 60 tubs of cream cheese.. As long as they stay in the fridge, they should be okay until the May 2006 expiry date printed on the box. Also found butter pats, so I bought them. Couldn't find Jelly packets, but maybe we'll skip the jelly option. Of course, went to Costco for 1-2 items, and ended up with the butter, cream cheese, a jar of biscotti, a box of cranberry/macadamia nut cluster cereal, 2 cases of mini juice bottles, and 4 books. Bought the Million Little Pieces book in PB that others have mentioned here. After I read it, I'll see about passing it along. |
