The rake man was out again last night -- in complete darkness. I stared out the window to see where he was, but I couldn't see a thing. But that incessant scratching of a rake against pavement ... scritch, scratch, scritch, scratch ... and then the sound of a motor as he gets into his car to drive away.

Pureed goldfish are no longer fish just oily /slimy liquid which would clog the phone in the booth, assuming there was STILL a phone in the booth.

However, the Goldfish could have been those small cheese crackers in which case several million of them could fit in a standard size phone booth, especially if the phone had been removed.

No, a 72dpi web resolution graphic is not adequate for offset lithographic printing. You will have to supply the logo as an EPS file or a 300dpi resolution TIFF file.

The loud noise of a weed whacker or lawn mower is an aphrodisiac to alligators in Florida. They're really turned on at a space shuttle launch.

In Gulliver's Travels Jonathan Swift described the two moons of Mars, Phobos and Deimos, giving their exact size and speeds of rotation. He did this more than one hundred years before either moon was discovered.

Yes, but three words that cannot be rhymed are colors: silver, orange, and purple.

And the longest monosyllabic word in the English language is "screeched".

LATE-BREAKING SEMI-FACTUAL NEWS:
Uday & Cusay are istoryhay.
More semi-facts:
*Bets, Washashore, Deepthroat, and many dozens of other rude, truth-mangling character assassins and smear mongerers -- whose continued MOL posts are inexplicably allowed at the sole pleasure (?)of Saint Dave Ross (blessed be he) shall all burn in Internet Hell for their baseless sour-graping and malicious inferences.
*Bets, a known thespian, is preggers! She's not showing yet, but reliable sources at the BBC have confirmed that she's having Eyespy's baby.
*Ed Matthews' real name is Ed Matthews.
*Trustee Rosner doesn't know how to change gears on his mountain bike.
*The South Orange Grill hasn't grilled anything yet, entirely due to municipal ineptitude.
*If Cold Stone Creamery doesn't open for business by Labor Day, it'll be Stone Cold Dead.
*People who go around smelling puddles should be locked up.
*Deadwhitemale is neither Dead, White, nor Male.

--The Oracle of MOL

BTW: Prove any of the above semi-facts either true or false, and you'll be awarded a free year-long subscription to whatever semi-professional productions Seton Hall mounts at SOPAC the year it opens.

IGLOO I thought that I would make this week's word IGLOO. It is a nice wee word that can make people say "what?". All you have to do is go up to the person of your choice, and say: " I live in an igloo".
