I just bought my daughter a used car from a private party -- and would love to hide it from her until the holidays (a month away!).

Everyone I know nearby has 2 cars already -- and I really don't want to inconvenience them.

Any local ideas? Overnight parking on the street isn't permitted, is it?

Think I can keep her out of the garage for a month?!?

Thanks,

Pete

There is plenty of parking at gaslight commons. try asking the front desk if they would mind. There are plenty of cars here without the parking permit, so you don't have to ask if you're so inclined. You just need someone to let you in.

On second thought I could just tell them I bought the car as a gift. I'm sure they'll hand me a pass for a month. PL me if you want to go this route.

Pete, wait until you get the insurance bill!!!!

A car for a teenager in modern day NJ is a little like having a yacht. It "isn't the initial cost, it is the upkeep".
