(Posting again since it was trapped in the "leaf" thread) Here's the dilemma: A metal grocery cart has been sitting in the street near the corner of Tillou and Mayhew for a couple weeks now. Doesn't look like anyone living near the cart is going to get rid of it. What can be done? Don't know that the dump would take a commercial cart from me if I drove it over there (and I don't know that I want to do that in the first place).

If you call the store that it belongs to, they may send someone to collect it. I think there are companies that collect stray shopping carts, for the supermarkets, and get paid a reward for each one they collect.
