Any ideas on spaying a 1-1/2 year-old dog? Costs? Risks? Recommendations on who should do it where? And who won't charge exorbitant fees?
IS the dog too old? Should I even do it in the first place?

irl,
It's always good to spay a dog, and 1 1/2 is not too young. My greyhound came off the track in May 2003, at four years old, and I had him nuetered as soon as I got him this Sept...they tend to live longer and be more calm and settled with nuetering.

We have gotten all our animals spayed/neutered at People for Animals in Hillside. I beleive it is $35.00. Local Vets donate their time to do this.

Great Place

The fee is up to $50, now, but that's still beats $320.
