Please tell us about any local holiday concerts or related events. My mother will be visiting next week, and we're looking for things to do with her. The city is always an option, but she doesn't get around quite as well as she used to. |

This may be too soon, but this Saturday at NJPAC, Ramsey Lewis (who made one of the top Christmas recordings ever) and Nancy Wilson are doing a Christmas show. |

The Annual Carol Sing is at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Prospect Ave. in South Orange, Sunday January 21 at 3 p.m.
Two choirs, brass quintet, percussion, flute, harp, handbells and of course the recently renovated organ in a nice program of popular and not-so-well-known Chrismas music.
And, it's free!

Information: ****RESCHEDULED FROM DECEMBER 14 TO DECEMBER 21 !!! **** ALL LOCAL SMALL BUSINESS PERSONS, ENTREPRENEURS, AND STAY AT HOME BUSINESSES and own-my-own-business wannabees are welcome to attend the South Orange Maplewood Business Incubator's Annual Meeting and Holiday Party on Sunday December 21 at Les Saisons, 304 Elmwood Avenue, Maplewood, New Jersey. The meeting (to plan 2004 events) is at 2 PM and the party (just for the fun of it) runs from 3PM to 5 PM. No speaker this month ~ just networking, finger food, and beverages. My acoustic rock group, The Establishment (www.establishmentmusic.com), will be performing at Van Gogh's Ear Cafe in Union on Dec. 30th. Should be a good time if you're looking for something to do. |
