I stopped in and looked over the new stores on Springfield Avenue today. I'm impressed. The Internet coffee house, Net Nomads, is very inviting and the coffee was great. I learned that I can use some very expensive color printers and pay per the sheet. Now I can dump my cheap ink jet and do my color printing without buying a $5,000 printer.

The bead shop, Beading Path, was charming and full of interesting stuff some of which filled my holiday shopping needs. The lady that runs the place even made me a gift basket-starter kit for my daughter who has tried to make a few beaded items in the past, and she can attend a free beading class to learn how to use the tools.

It is so nice to see something good come to the area and the staff of both were very nice people who live in Maplewood. Now dump that fish store and put in a good book store!

I am glad you had a good experience.

The correct name of the store is "The Beaded Path."

Just so you know, I like the fish store.

Enjoy,

Yang, I want to thank you so much for the kind words. I've been so busy that i've committed the sin of getting behind on my MOL reading (gasp!!) and didn't see your post until tonight.

We're very fond of our new location and are still adapting. A far greater demand for hot chocolate has inspired our italian coffee vendor to introduce us to italian hot cocoa and it's quite the rave. An unexpected side benefit are the biceps my son is developing hauling all the milk we're going through. ;)

Thanks again.

The Italian hot cocoa at NetNomads is quite good. I'm partial to the green tea chai, myself.

And the high quality musical performances.

And the service is quite good at Net Nomads as well!
