I have a large bag full of toys (I came across some irresistable bargains!) that I was intending to donate to Toys for Tots or some similar organization, but I put off the actual donating part and now I fear I may be too late. Anyone know of anyplace local that is still collecting toys for needy kids? |

My kids have many toys that they no longer use or have outgrown. I would like to donate used toys and baby accessories in good condition. Does anyone know of anyplace that would take things like these? |

I work at Marble Church in NYC in our volunteer ministies dept. We have several outreach programs that we work with, and these agencies would be very grateful for items like yours ( ie family homeless shelters, babies with aids, etc.) Please private line me if you'd like to learn more. I drive in every Sunday and would be happy to facilitate. Alternately, I am sure that any spiritual organization around here could point you in a similar direction...or donate to a thrift shop that in turn benefits a cause. Gently used children's things are ALWAYS needed and appreciated. |
