Which to you prefer on your tree? We switch every year. The wife loves white (yuck!) and I love color lights. Especially the one's that blink (which drives her crazy ). The color lights remind me of being a kid. This year is white. I'll wait my turn. |

White, looks 'cleaner' more like candles, but I would go for a string of lights that all changed color at the same time. |

We do both. White lights in the center of the tree and then color lights on the tips of the branches |

How do you do color lights on just the tip? Do you strand each branch? You must use a lot of lights. |

This year we went away from mini lights on the tree, and bought a bunch of those old-fashioned A9 kind. They bring a small wave of nostalgia every time I look at them. Color for on the tree; white for outside. Not so much this year for me, either. I put some up right after Thanksgiving on the front of the house, and then the roof was covered with snow the next two weekends after that. So, none on the sides this year. |

White, inside and out... although we too have not so much on the outside - between the flu and the snow we're lucky to have any lights up at all! We switched to tiny white lights the year after I took the large colored lights from my childhood off the tree and discovered a singed branch. Lucky we had a very fresh tree that year! |

Orange lights for the menorah though I really like the look of the blue ones. |

Mini multi colored lights! Our tree has controls to make them blink in 18 different patterns... It is fun to change and watch! |

Colored lights are gross. Especially, the ones that blink. They make your house look like one of those sleazy-all-night-bad-neighborhood-Bodega's in the city. White lights all the way. _______________ Do Not Pass Go |
