Does anyone know of an orthopedist that they would HIGHLY recommend? I've got an injury and have been to around 5 different doctors, and 3 different physical therapists.. had 2 surgeries, and nothing works.

My doctor is great... he specializes in Sports Medicine, but he really helped me when I felt like I couldn't walk another step... not sure if you're interested in a NY-doctor...

Very sorry to hear your story, flugermongers. I recommend our new orthopedist, but I confess to not knowing him well yet. I trust him enough to do surgery on my daughter, which he is likely to do in February.

Wonderful, thank you both for the recommendations!

Good luck in February, Tom...

Greg Mulford, MD @ Overlook or Morristown. Will make absolutely sure there aren't alternatives before surgery. He's a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation doc, not an orthopod. Sometimes if you go to Midas you get a muffler, if you know what I mean.

I'm not sure I do know what you mean, actually. But that might be just 'cause I'm tired.

At this point, I don't think there are any other alternatives, since I've had two botched surgeries. There's definitly something wrong inside my knee.

Thank you for the recommendation, I will be making all these calls first thing tomorrow morning!!!
