My father-in-law bestowed upon us five bottles of Canadian Club that he bought forty years ago (the labels say 1959!) but I can't imagine it's still any good. Does booze turn or go bad after such a long period of time??? I have to assume there's a difference between "aged" and just plain "old"

Not being an big drinker, I remember reading that scotch, burbon and whiskey does not go bad. Neither does vodka or gin.

I do remember having a bottle of Harvey's Bristol Creme sherry that did turn with age.

Just curious, did you just recently move out of MW? I know someone with your sense of humor with the initials MM (I don't know her middle name) who recently left.

No, but I've thought a lot about moving due to taxes. Hopefully your friend's sense of humor is better than mine!

Yes, that booze is bad for you. Call me and I will pick it up and see to it that it is disposed of, in one form or another.

Hic!
