Thinking of spending a quiet evening at home for New Year's and was looking for suggestions on good games for just 2 people. (get your minds out of the gutter...I don't mean THAT)

We like things like Chess, Scattergories, Scrabble, Risk etc but are looking for some NEW suggestions.

Any ideas?

Sorry. Can't get what I laughingly refer to as my mind OUT of the gutter. You two need to make a baby. Now. You clearly have WAY too much free time, and a bambino will solve that problem but good...

In addition to the instant gratification you'll (hopefully) both get from the act itself, think of the longer-term benefit: Our local school taxes, which you so often decry as burdensome, will actually be put to use educating your own offspring. A clear win-win, yes?

So, assuming that you're both appropriately young and spry, I suggest that you get out the bubbly, or vegetable oil, or French Maid outfit, or whatever it takes, and get to work. Life is real. So create one. Otherwise, who'll care for you in your old age? Not me, I assure you.

BTW: Happy New Year, ya big stud, ya...

SoDuh - well at least you are consistent in adding zero value to EVERY thread you post in.

To everyone else, thanks for the suggestions & Happy New Year!

Fulfilling at least part of one of my New Years resolutions right off the bat, but mostly due to a wicked hangover which prevents me from snappy repartee at this ungodly hour:

So, MHD, what all did you two DO last night, after we all made such helpful suggestions? Come on... I'm sure everybody's waiting to hear...

Microgem,

I know so few people who play my favorite game - Rummikub. Are you up for a game?
