I know a while back there were a number of inquiries about DSL/cable/high speed internet in South Orange/Maplewood posted here. I just found a great deal through speakeasy and wanted to share the info.
They have a free install and $19.95 the first 3 months for resedential service. After that the price is dependent on the speed you select, but it starts at $49 a month which is cheap for 1M downloads and 256k uploads.

You fill out a form on the website, someone gives you a call on the phone to verify, then they send you a package. You just follow the instructions and it's instant high-speed surf. I'm very satisfied.
