I tried this question in the Please Help section with no luck.. so I thought I'd try here. Can anyone recommend someone to repair two silverplated knives? One is broken in half - the other has everything intact, but the blade separates from the handle and it needs to be re-cemented. Thanks for your help.

My suggestion would be a good jeweler. (Although, I don't have one up here ... the only one I know of is down in MD.)

SO,
The jeweler on the corner of Millburn Ave and Ridgewood Ave does really good custom work and might be able to fix the flatware.
Not sure if it is worth it, though. Have you looked for replacements on ebay or a china replacement company (I think there is a company called Replacements Unlimited). That might be a much cheaper way to go.
