Just thought I would start the ball rolling by saying that once again this year FIRST NIGHT was first rate and first class. The acts were entertaining, the actors practiced, the music varied and poignant, and the comedians funny.
But I did kind of miss the belly dancer

I did not attend the year they had the bellydancer; but I went this year and it was great! Wish I could have seen all the acts--I did get to see most. What a hard working bunch of volunteers--they all deserve special recognition.

My kid loved the fencing and the ventriloquist and he thought the comedian was hilarious. A few days later and he's still repeating the jokes about band-aids, ice-cream sandwiches and socks.

My favorites were the Irish Tenor and Low Tech guy.

My kid (the computer fanatic) thought Low Tech guy was boring and insisted we leave half way through the performance. Think I'll rent "The Mighty Wind" this weekend and make him watch it just to get even.
