Does anyone know of any place where we can hold a murder mystery dinner for kids? Or, any other novel birthday party suggestions for an 11-year-old? |

Paint ball is always fun...... Jim Thorpe in PA. Indoor go-cart racing is also great.

Don't know anything about this company - but if you're willing to host it yourself look at http://www.tailormademysteries.com/ (there are other similiar sites). We've successfully taken small (6 -8) groups of kids to Parsippany Sheraton Hotel for overnight birthday party. You should know guests well to do this (to ensure they will be well behaved). Get 1-2 rooms for kids, depending on number, and one adjoining room for you/spouse/sibling. Take kids there after dinner, swim in pool, go back to room for pizza (have it delivered) and cake (bring with you). Let them watch one pay per view movie (they vote on choice you agree on), and set a bed time. Next morning, they can swim again before breakfast if they want, take them to breakfast and then home. One of our groups had a blast having an early morning pillow fight. For girls, consider Glassworks (make your own glass studio) in Morristown. |
