Hi Gang, Can anyone recommend a decent family doctor somewhere in or around the Maplewood area? I've seen past posted with the same question/suggestions, but many of those doctors are not accepting new patients. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank. |

We really like Dr. Orenberg. He's willing to talk about anything, and he seems "holistic". And when he needs to talk to my daughters, he looks them in the eye. Most other doctors deliver their messages to me, even when they're addressed to the kids. I wonder why doctors do that. Scott Orenberg, DO 1985 Springfield Ave Maplewood, NJ 07040 973-763-5010

Marnie Doubek, MD Samantha Posner, MD Hugh Snyder, MD All are excellent family physicians who work in Springfield, close to Maplewood. I know that they are accepting patients. 105 Morris Avenue Suite 200 Springfield, NJ 07081 (973) 376-7788 |

I'll second Tom - Dr Scott Orenberg. As a new area resident several years ago, I would go to the CareStation in West Orange - Orenberg was the doctor there - when he moved into group practice on SA Ave, I followed him. Do a search of the attic for his last name, you'll see many positive recommendations. |
