any suggestions for someplace to go with the signif other plus about 6 friends for a fun, not too expensive, local dinner? We're all getting sitters but can't stay out TOO late!

My husband had my birthday party at Jumbalaya in Union. Its Tex-Mex, Cajun and Portuguese so there are alot of choices. Great food and atmosphere for some fun. Prices are very reasonable too!

'Marakesh' Morroccan restuarant in Parsippany (just off the RT 280 at Route 46, about 20 mins max to drive) is fun and the food is delicious.

At the weekends they have a belly dancer (plus a ladies' night midweek to see a male dancer!)

There is a really fun bar restaurant in Berkeley Hts called Trap Rock Restaurant and Brewery. It is casual yet sophisticated at the same time. It is fun to go with a group and they even have a cigar bar. Food and the micro brews are good too. Check out their web site.
