Does anyone live in that part of town, or in the eastern part of Montrose, and can tell me about it via email (weinbergerfamily@comcast.net)? We've been thinking about a move and would love to hear comments from folks who live there. Thanks! |

I love Tuxedo Park. In terms of absolute beauty I think that the only section of SO that tops it is the Montrose section. I and my family( spouse and two young children) just moved here (Tuxedo Park) in April. The neighborhood is beautiful, people are friendly and take care of their property. There is a very active neighborhood association that holds meeting monthly. There are a number of subcommittes. My next door neighbor is the head of the real estate committe and tells me that the real estate valuations have increased about 30 percent in the past year. Over the past several years many of the elderly people who have lived here for 30 plus years are leaving ( one way or another) and many young families have moved in. I could go on and on but if you want more info, private line me. |

I believe it's the residential area between Seton Hall and Newark. Quite a few beautiful old homes in there!! |
