My house is crawling with contractors from the Air Group as I post. It looks like an ant hill, but they finish tomorrow! But- they are installing central air. Crazy, in this weather, you say? Perhaps.... I got a discount & it gives me hope that spring and summer are coming. So far, I love these guys. Ultra-professional & it's not as expensive as I thought it would be (winter installation discount). |

Tom- We have an "average" mid-size house. Cathedral ceiling in living room; dining room, sun room and LR are one contiguous space. Kitchen: 14x28, den 16x9. Small bedroom and bathroom upstairs, 2 average size bedrooms. Not doing attic or basement. Total house SQ is about 2050. They are installing one Unico system. Under 13k. They will have completed the entire job in 2 days. We are doing kitchen work & they will come back once that is done to place the vents. But, they've aleady run the ducts & left them in the ceiling. I also will not get billed for the full amount until the system is running in the early summer. I know that Us2nnj had the same system installed by Wooley last year & was very happy with the work. We went with Airco simply as a matter of timing; Wooley doesn't start giving estimates until March & we are doing other work, so we didn't want to wait on this. PL if you want to see the finished job. |
