sorry for the silly question, but i'm hosting my neices first bday party this Saturday and I want to buy a small bunch of helium-filled balloons. Is there any place in the center of town that sells those ? Cornicopia maybe ? Thanks in advance for helping me avoid the last minute run-around ! Dawn

If you don't mind inflating them up yourself, you can go to Party City on Rt. 22 W and they sell a whole kit--cheap and easy. They also will inflate balloons for you as well.

Art & Bloom Floral productions provides and will deliver them.
Productions facilities are at The Beaded Path on Springfield Avenue, two doors down from Net Nomads and across from Primo Pizza.

You can rent a helium tank at most of those party rental places. They 're easy to operate and inexpensive to rent (I think in the $30 range). This way you can go crazy and fill a whole room full of helium balloons and the kids go nuts. Plus everyone can take a turn inhaling helium and talking like a chipmunk...just kidding.
