Just curious... why not South Mountain Arena? I've never been and often wondered what it was like.

The Mennen Ice Arena in Morristown is very nice. It's about a half hour drive. Directions are at the Morris County Parks Commission website. It's an easy drive from Route 24.

Int -- my 4 year old wants to do a group skating lesson for her birthday and South Mountain won't do it. No objections otherwise! Ken -- thanks for Montclair tip!

Floyd Hall Arena in Montclair is nice, and they do have classes:

You can also try the Ice House in Hackensack. That's about a 25 minute drive.

Isnt the one in Florham Park a roller skating rink, not an ice rink?

Mfpark,
I'm sure you're right--I haven't been inside, just driven past it. Sorry...
