theres nothing better than watching a Blue Marlin peel line off your reel while being strapped into the chair. except maybe the "daddy your home" thats shouted from across the kitchen followed by the leap into your arms by a three year old boy who someday will learn how much fun the above answer is!! I agree with Duncan on this one. When my little guy says (totally unprovoked), "Your the bestest daddy in the whole world" everything else becomes irrelevant. |

...playing a super-fat, funky groove with a band so tight that you all feel almost linked by e.s.p. in front of an ecstatic, cheering crowd that can't help but shake everything they've got. (I anticipate such an environment at O'Reilly's with Backspin on Jan. 17) |

Ditto what Lizziecat said. Also, nothing better than sipping an icy martini in front of the fireplace with the one I love with great jazz playing in the background. |

Emerging naked from the tent on a clear, windy night on the top of Gothics and looking up at the stars! Well, or maybe early the next morning standing on a viewpoint in the sun and watching Marcy erupt and disappear again through the clouds. |

Horsbackriding, especially that moment when you and the horse feel like one perfectly oiled machine, just thisclose to losing control. Mmmmyeah. Bodysurfing in huge waves. Being non musically gifted, but being in the audience when what Notehead wrote about happens to the band you are listening to, and watching that moment onstage, where the musicians just transcend. Magical. |

sitting with the one you love in a hot tub with the jets OFF on a cold winter night looking up and admiring the stars in the sky behind the bare trees, and relishing the fact that all you had to do was to go out your back door to be there. |
