I am in need of what appears to be a heating repair. My Bell & Gossett booster (Series #100), which heats my TV/rec. room, is making loud, banging noises whenever the thermostat kicks on. Normally in the past when this has happened, I would add oil and it would stop. However, this time it doesn't seem to be helping. So, we have kept the heat off in that room -- which we use OFTEN -- bundle up and attempt to stay warm.
We wish to have this problem checked out ASAP by an honest, reliable & reasonably-priced repair person. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
