I know many of you don't read the Post, but did anyone see the two page spread with pictures of the village and houses?? Very positive, although I don't know how they picked the houses they did for photos. All in all, more positive press (is that good or bad??) and fun to read. If this was already posted, sorry, didn't read all of MOL. |

As a former writer/reporter for the Post, I think you misconstrue their readership. The Post is still New York's "evening" paper, and a surprising percentage of those nice Brooklyn yuppies read it on their way home from work. Whether or not you agree with their politics (and I don't), there's enough there in terms of sports and local news -- to say nothing of page 6. So there! |

That's a really cool article. Isn't it great to make other people jealous? |

Loved the article - but tell me true: Was this "bought and paid for" by our community pr people? These glowing real estate placements in major media are beginning to worry me. |

and the population here 'grumbles' about the property taxes. As long as it's just a grumble, nothing will change. |

I notice the article mentions the building called The Top as if it's in Maplewood, whereas I'm pretty sure it's in South Orange. Tom Reingold the prissy-pants There is nothing

As someone periferally involved in the publicity surrounding the two towns, I can reassure you that this was a truly unsolicited and unexpected news story. |

Tom: The Top is in Maplewood, but you do have to drive through S. Orange to get there. |
