What do six good-looking and talented guys from Massachusetts and the Junior League of the Oranges and Short Hills have in common? On Sunday, January 25th, 2004, they will join together to present "Ball in the House", a musical tour de force that must be heard and seen to be believed. Six guys. Six mouths. That's it. Performing at 3:00 p.m. at South Orange Middle School, this six-man pop/r&b “mouth band” from Boston will be the featured act for the League’s Family Winter Concert. Parents and children are both going to be enthralled when they see what these six guys do, with just their own voices. This talented a cappella group has performed with acts such as 98 Degrees, Jessica Simpson, Blondie, Smokey Robinson and The Temptations but like to fill out their tour schedule with visiting primary and secondary schools and sharing their love of music with young audiences. Additionally, Ball in the House, through a national campaign for a familiar consumer product, has been showcasing their voices and writing skills on television and radio for the last three years. Tickets are available to the general public for purchase. The seating is limited seating so purchase your tickets ($8 each) now! For further information go to www.JLOSH.org or call the league building at 973-379-9655. The proceeds raised from this event will support the mission of the Junior League of the Oranges and Short Hills, a volunteer organization of women committed to serving the unmet needs of women and children in the communities of Livingston, Maplewood, Millburn, East Orange, Orange, Short Hills, South Orange, Springfield and West Orange. |
