I notice that you have been advertising your computer services (and catering business) almost daily in the Classifieds section here on MOL. As if that is not flagrant enough, you are now advertising your business in the non-commercial Virtual Cafe and the Tech Support forums. I will not speak for Jamie and Dave, but I can imagine that this might be a violation of MOL policy. Now, if someone asks a technical question in the Tech Support section about computer problems, you may want to offer an answer and then mention that you do this professionally. You might want to follow the leads of professionals like the Gateway Plumbing guys. They are truly helpful to others here on MOL, and I am sure because of their proven expertise, they have gotten a lot of business here. But nothing turns people off more than to have unsolicited in-your-face advertising in non-commercial forums. Marc www.millburnweb.com

Marc is correct. Please confine such posts to the "Work" area. Also, the "Technical Support" section of the board is for peer-to-peer tech help and problems w/the message board's software. |
