Why is no one ever in the chatroom?

Just wondering...

No one is willing to wait long enough for anyone else to get there.

Yeah, I've been meaning to put a meeting time next to the link. What do you think would be a good time? 10pm Should we pick one particular night a week? I'm on a Yahoo group that desgnates Tuesdays from 7-9 as a meeting time for chat.

I spend enough time online. If we're going to have a regularly scheduled chat, let's do it at the Gate or O'Reilly's over a pint.

I remember back in the day when the chatroom was young, the nights were long, and the beer was in a cooler next to the 'puter, but I digress. Met some wonderfully nice MOLers online, some eventually fun f2f's at local pubs. And, oh, how I miss having the gavel...

Probably one of my silliest memories in the 'room - after spending sometime chatting with with another local, we met down at the park at 1am to go sledding. Goodness, what a mess we made, those old bones.

Actually, I just saw a fellow MOL'er in person and we thought it would be a great idea to have a "face-to-face". Any chance of that happening? I think it would be fun!

Second the motion for a face to face. It's been far too long since the last one.

Jamie:

Any chance of starting the chat earlier? Some of us old fogies have early bed times.

Let's call a f2f at the Dancing Goat or Net Nomads. Much prefer hot cocoa or coffee on a cold winter's night, but hey, a pint or two wouldn't be bad either.

On a coffee break..or something like it.
