My husband and I have about 7 or 8 cartons of books to get rid of. Any ideas? |

Call the library and find out when the next book sale will be. Good for the library; good for you.

Don't know if there's a Veteran's Hospital nearby, but often they gratefully receive books. |

There is a Veteran's Hospital on South Centre Street just over the line in East Orange. |

If there are any children's books included, hold onto them for a month. Come March, there will be collection bins at, among other locations, all disrict schools and Maplewood and SO libraries for the Reading=Success program. Last year, in its first year of operation, this program placed over 2000 donated books into district classrooms! |
