I have had my xmas tree in front of my house since the weekend after christmas.... and it's still there. Does anyone know when they will be picking them up?

Some have found that by placing the tree in the middle of the street gets results. Put it about two houses away from yours. |

I tossed our big tree on the Monday after New Years, along with a small (2') tree, and the wreath from our front door. they took the big tree, but left the small tree and the wreath. what's with that? |

The town comes around with a wood chipper for the Christmas trees and grinds them on the spot. Wreaths are constructed on metal wire frames. Put in the chipper the machine would be destroyed. Ouch! |

Actually the wreath we bought from Home depot has no metal in it but they left it anyway. |

Just curious - how does one construct a wreath without using wire or a wire frame? |

it seemed to be made of branches that had been twisted or tied together. It didn't have a wire or plastic frame, but maybe the guys didn't want to take a chance. ok, but what about the 2' tree they left? height discrimination? or do I need to call out the infantrymen to take care of an infant tree? |

We put our tree out the weekend after xmas, and they took it right away. Unfortunatley one of my neighbors tree ended up in front of our house and has been there for weeks! That is frustrating! |
