I took my four year old to Chuck E Cheese on Rt 22 Thursday morning. Although the Rt. 10 one is a little bright/shinier, the one on 22 is so handy and very quiet on weekday mornings that we end up there after errands. Anyway, they just changed ownership and every game is only 1 quarter (or 1 token). Many of those games used to be over 50 cents, some even 1.00 (the photo ride). So my son literally played 16 games for 4 dollars. We ordered an individual pizza and shared it (for 5.99) and it was plenty for the two of us. He had a blast and it was cheap! They even had people climbing up in the toobs in the ceiling cleaning with windex. That used to be my main complaint for the Rt 22 one.

Now here's the question, did the Rt. 10 one change to all 1 token games as well? I haven't been out there in a while and was just curious if it was an across the board change.

yes, the one on route 10 (E Hanover) -- all one token, as are all the Chuckee Cheese stores.

I try to ration how often we go there -- more for my sanity's sake. the kids ALWAYS have fun there!

GOod to hear about the route 22 store -- have not been there.

Pete

One good thing about having teenagers is you don't have to go to Chuck E. Cheese-type places (I enjoyed them when the kids were small, but I'm glad they've outgrown them - the noise level was getting to me!)

I can see the CC on Rt 22 from the parkway but don't know how to get there. Can someone tell me the U-turn point on eastbound lane (I assume it's westbound?). I've ended up in Newark twice; I'm doing something wrong. I ususally come from Liberty ave. Thanks.

Chuck-E-Cheese is on the eastbound side of 22 and has an entrance there just before the Vauxhall Rd exit. If you have a favorite way to get to Toys R Us, then just follow that and then continue eastbound on Rt 22 from there. (I go through some back streets from Vaux Hall road to Morris Avenue westbound and then through the parking lot of the Toys R Us shopping center to Rt 22 East to get there.)
