Being still relatively new to Maplewood, I am on a quest to find a dry cleaner / laundry that will launder my womens cotton dress shirts. I have taken them to Natural Cleaners and Gleason's who are happy to dry clean them but not launder them as I want. Dry cleaning will ultimately turn my white shirts yellow and they don't come back starched like they do when they are laundered. The issue is apparently womens shirts don't fit on the form used to press them. The place I used to take my shirts to in Hoboken used to hand press them but I can't find anyone here to do this. Any suggestions?

I called Volk and the man I spoke with said they would launder my shirts but wouldn't take responsibility like the several other places I have been or called. He sounded very agitated when we talked about it. Something about colors fading and the shirts won't fit the form. Made me think that I would get my shirts back in shreds and w/o any buttons. Have you had any problems there? Sounded like I would have to sign a waiver. I wear a medium / size 10.

Not sure if they do it, but I use Spotless Cleaners in Millburn. They do free pick up and delivery at my home (I leave it outside in a bag; they leave it hanging on my door). They launder my husband’s pants and shirts. I've checked around and they are priced very well. They send me a bill once a month. I used to use New Wyoming Cleaners because they also had the free p/u and delivery, but they are much more expensive and they charge your credit card so it's easy to lose track of what they are charging. As I said, not sure of the women's shirt issue but it's worth checking out and oh so convenient. And, also check New Wyoming about the shirt issue if Spotless doesn't work, they seem like they might cater to special requests...worth checking into.

Maplemom--Thanks for the leads. I will check out both. Can't imagine having my cleaning delivered to my door!
