My daughter's favorite hair stylist has moved. Can anyone recommend a someone for a good, simple cut for a pre-teen without paying a fortune---maybe for about $20? And without having to book weeks in advance? She doesn't want to go to the barber shop in town--maybe when she was younger, but not now. Thanks

call Moods in Hair in South Orange. They are very good, I don't know the prices but I doubt they are very expensive. They cater to SHU students and Phil, the owner, is a very nice (cool) guy.

We like Salon 4 Kids in Summit. Tony the owner also owns Salon 44 next door.

We all (including me) go to the salon in the Livingston Mall. It's called Professional Hair. 973-994-2361. I don't remember the names of the people who did my wife and daughter's hair. Rates are very reasonable.

Thank you all. Wendyn, salon 4 kids is where we used to go, but Noelle (our favorite) is gone, so I think we'll just go local. Ages ago, we went to the Liv. Mall salon, but back then it was for kids only....or am I thinking of a different salon there? Happy snow day tomorrow (I think??)
