We have some carpentry, electrical and plumbing things that we would really like one person to do. None of them is a big job, we're looking for someone good and reasonable. Thanks as always |

My recommendation would be Richard O'Conner. He has been doing stuff for me for almost 4 years. He started out as a buddy who helped me with my computer (his real job at the time). I found him skilled in electrical, plumbing, carpentry and landscaping. He thrives on giving advice and being helpful. He has only recently started charging for his handyman work, to make ends meet while he is job hunting. They just hired him at Sears Hardware in Essex Green, so you can probably stop by and talk to him. MicDenBur |

Alternately, I hear that MOL's very own jgberkeley is available! He's skilled, knowledgeable, and he'll tell you everything you ever wanted to know about your steam heating system jgberkeley@aol.com |

We recommend Justin Tharaud, who has a company called The Contractors. His cell number is 973-632-3866. Justin is very skilled and a good guy. |

Would any of the mentioned handymen be equipped to handle repairing a screened-in porch? The porch needs new screens and I'm hoping that someone can tell me that there are screens that are cat-scratch and/or dog proof. If not, we need to come up with a better mousetrap. Also, we have electricity in our garage but the light never works....hmmm.... |

I 2nd 3rd and 4th JGBERKELEY!!! He helped me out with a pretty extensive plumbing project that I received a quote from a popular plumber in town who wanted $2K. We spent nearly 8 hours working on this but in the end, I save $1500!!! He's the best! |

Hey all ... I'm around ... but I have to admit that with the new job, my time is much harder to schedule ... if you're waiting on me, trust I haven't forgotten, but I haven't figured out how to deal with the new work schedule yet. Thank you Richard (ROC) --Never be afraid to try something new. Remember, amateurs built the ark; professionals built the Titanic.-- --AIM: ROConn |

I believe J stands for Jennifer, the lovely and talented Mrs. Berkeley (and owner of the Beaded Path!). |
