We have reached the point where we post threads about people posting on MOL. Have we reached the end of the life cycle of MOL? |

If that were the case we reached the end years ago with Nohero's 12-step program. |

Everything is constantly in a state of becoming. The present and future shape of MOL are dependent upon the input of the administrators and the posters. In the few years I have been posting on MOL, I have noticed that some cyclical patterns seem to emerge but there has also been the occassional quantum leap. |

Eventually, MOL will become the online forum that's so crowded that no one ever comes here. That's what happened to netnews. Tom Reingold the prissy-pants There is nothing

isn't that kind of like an oxymoron? if it's so crowded no one comes here it's going to be empty... >>>>> Tom Reingold Citizen Username: Noglider Post Number: 1936 Registered: 1-2003 Posted on Friday, January 30, 2004 - 9:50 pm: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eventually, MOL will become the online forum that's so crowded that no one ever comes here. Actually this thread is the beginning of the end. A thread about threads about people posting on MOL. It's way too meta... |

I've just picked up a fault in the AE35 unit. It's going to go 100% failure in 72 hours. There is. |

not for nothing, but the discussion we had a couple of months ago to stop calling people "worthless" and "idiots", etc. I believe has had a profound positive effect. Personally, my participation is way up since there's more "listening" going on. |

I agree... lately it seems we have a kinder, friendlier participation. I like it! BTW, Libby and I enjoyed the conversation and your company last night at O'Reilly's... |
