Some type of explosion @ 5:43pm?

I didn't even think about that. I live pretty far from the Quarry though, probably about three miles. It was after dark, do they blast at night? It doesn't matter so much, I just wondered if anyone knew what it was. As long as I didn't hear sirens afterwards I assumed it was nothing serious.
