Is there anywhere that offers open figure drawing? That is, a bunch of easels around a pedastal where a rotund model poses nude and people sketch him/her. The instructor walks around and gives comments and direction, and then ten minutes later the model changes poses and the whole process starts again. I'm looking for an open class (where people can just drop in), but might also be interested in an actual class (8-10 sessions, 1x/wk). Anything like that in the area? Thanks in advance. |

NJ Center for Visual Arts in Summit has figure drawing classes. I don't think that they have open classes, but they do have once a week classes. I think the sessions run about 12 weeks. |

Check at the Baird Center in S.O. (973-762-0359)> They have had classes in the past and I am not sure if they still offer them. NCJ aka LibraryLady On a coffee break..or something like it. |
