I went to Drug Fair, and all I bought was cat food!!! I didn't even walk by the "As Seen On TV" section! I did it! |

After reading all about it, I filled my prescription there yesterday morning. I wasn't tempted to buy a single thing, although the browsing while waiting was sort of fun. And my choice not to buy anything may have come from the bad mood I was in. I'll give it a try again, though. The variety of merchandise is funny, though. They even have gardening things. A funny thing happened on the way to the forum, I mean out of MMS. A woman came up to me and said, "Tom, you gotta go!" I said, "Where?" She said, "Drug Fair!" OK, she was talking about these messages. I don't know who she is. Probably the mother of my daughter's friend, but which? Tom Reingold the prissy-pants There is nothing

I'm a little down on Drug Fair. I went in there looking for a deck of cards and couldn't find any. |

I was just there this afternoon - saw many decks of cards... did you ask anyone Marc? I only bought a $2.99 key chain with my great-nephew's name on it... a big change from my usual $70+... the planets must be out of alignment! |

It was about a month ago, but all they had at the time was Uno cards. Maybe there was a big poker tournament that night and all the cards sold early |

I think Drug Fair is basically a five-and-dime store, updated in some difficult (and some not-so-difficult-)to-take ways, reflecting the (good), bad and the ugly in our society. It's a small version of a big box store; it just didn't put anyone else out of business. (Or did it? We've only been here for 20 years...does someone have a longer perspective on the Millburn Mall?) There. Can anyone argue with that? --Unctious in the U.S.
